Well the crap ebay seller has proved once again he is a con man by switching, yet again, ebay accounts. Why the need for name changes? Seems like his feedback is never quit good enough. Check back on past Consumer alerts for more details, what you need to know now is that he is trading under the ebay id of :'e-bay-sports' - Thanks to David for passing this on.
Second Consumer alert also involes ebay. Lucky for the person who reported this they followed the rules from the Manifesto of Mass about buying gear online and only got ripped off for under £20 but this is not good enough. The people involved promised delivery of steroids and as normal they broke the golden rule, they were too pushy about getting a sale. A real dealer never needs to push you to buy and indeed does not want to in the case of complete strangers. That is a warning sign. The e-mail address the seller uses is: performance.steroids@hotmail.co.uk and goes by the name (maybe fake) of R Levett. His prefers bank transfer another no no for buying gear. Even cash is better because you send it special delivery and if the guy says he did not get it you can claim back the cash. We are waiting on more info on this seller but rule of thumb is don't buy from ebay, from any seller that is too push for a sale, who wants a bank transfer (unless it is a protected transaction like paypal, which some dealers accept and this way you can get you money back of paypal if nothing turns up) If you must buy, buy the smallest amount you can, pay by credit card via a secure server if possible this way you can claim back your money if the item does not turn up. That way if you get screwed, its for a little amount. More info in the Manifesto, which most of you already have, if not you can buy it for a discount in the members shop. Another gear warning, this time of a website called performance steroids. Avoid them. A fellow iron warrior sent them (by bank transfer again) and got ripped off. No products and £90 down the drain.
